Campfire Guitar Camp
for all ages

Start: Friday, June 13, 6 p.m. 

End: Sunday, June 15, 10 a.m.
For all ages!                  

Fees: $120 per camper

 

Whether you're a beginning guitar player, always wanting to learn the chords for "Blowing in the Wind", or if you've played for a few years and yearn to finger pick "Wildwood Flowers" like Maybelle Carter, you are invited to Camp Pine Lake to improve your skill and maximize your enjoyment in making acoustic music.  

 

You can expect to play in groups with others and receive individual help from guitar players a little further down the path - all in a supportive environment. Bring your favorite songs and be ready to learn some new ones.

And, if you just want to spend time around a campfire singing, you're very welcome, too!

 

Michael Gabler plays in the Prairie Creek String Band.  He is a serious student of the guitar, an accomplished teacher, and a nice fellow.  His early guitar heroes were the cool college kids leading the campfire sing-alongs at summer camp.
